JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, ambitious Sales Executive who will be prospecting new business on the west coast. This position will require selling our stock product line and collaborating with customers on their desired custom package.  At Fusion you will have the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced strategic environment, where bold, innovative thinking isn’t just welcomed, it’s encouraged.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, then maintain business in the direct sale of airless and atmospheric dispensing systems, tubes, and jars to the cosmetic and skin care markets using consultative selling skills
  • Responsible for attainment of annual sales goals through the Fusion business review process, new account development and account retention
  • Work closely with in-house design and development team to provide customers with creative and innovative packaging solutions
  • Develop, produce and present sales proposals to customers demonstrating our ability to offer creative solution based programs
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels & cross-function of clients including Purchasing, Packaging Development & Marketing
  • Solicit new accounts through past relationships or cold calling
  • Work closely with client throughout life cycle of project
  • Responsible for the appropriate and timely completion of all field reports such as weekly reports, expense reports as well as various administrative tasks as requested
  • Maintain a clean and neat professional appearance

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college required
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
  • Proven sales track record of meeting sales goals
  • Strategic sales planning skills
  • Ability to gain and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Excellent written and oral skills required
  • Some geographical regional travel required; up to 50%
  • Fusion will consider out of state candidates for the position. Relocation package available for qualified candidates and will be negotiated upon offer of employment.
  • Must live within 30-40 minutes of El Segundo if an LA resident.

Senior Account Manager – East Coast

ROLE SUMMARY

This position is based in our Manhattan, NY office, located in the trendy Flat Iron District. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the lead communication hub for all key customer support activities. Individuals in this position work directly with all departments within the organization to manage customer related tasks and fulfill customer needs. This includes daily interactions with departmental managers in sales, operations, purchasing, creative, engineering, and accounting personnel. The Senior Account Manager interacts closely with sales executives and management to offer support in the securing of new business by providing quotations, completing sample requests, generating timelines, and ensuring that important operational milestones in the development of an item are met. For established customers, the Senior Account Manager becomes the primary point of contact for order placement and confirmation, price list maintenance, and tracking and follow up of open orders. The overarching objective of the Senior Account Manager is to support sale executives in their sales efforts and to ensure that the company provides flawless service and support to key customers.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Management Support

  • Works with sales executives and sales managers to heavily assist in securing new business by facilitating communication with operations and productions teams
  • Interfaces with all departments as customer needs arise including:
    • Operations – project planning, launch timing, milestone tracking
    • Purchasing – item costing and pricing, order tracking
    • Quality – corrective action tracking and response
    • Engineering – technical questions and solutions for packaging choices
    • Creative – artwork review and decoration options
    • Accounting – credit applications, customer setup, customer deposits

Customer Management Support

  • Communicates daily with customer representatives in purchasing, planning, marketing, and logistics
  • Provides order status updates and confirmations and works through scheduling conflicts as necessary
  • Creates quotes, price lists, item approval sign offs, and customer specific reports as required
  • Anticipates potential problems or complications and works with customer to facilitate timely approvals and decision making

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree

ROLE SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Manager will provide sales leadership anddirection to assigned Account Executives to ensure individual and regional sales goals are met. Account Executives sell beauty solutions including color and skincare packaging, turnkey design/formulation/packaging services for both color and skincare, and on-trend formulations and packaging in a competitive and innovative marketplace.

The Regional Sales Manager will work with executives to develop and execute a sales strategy to enhance market penetration. This role will interface with leaders across the organization including Purchasing, Packaging Development, Marketing and our China team to execute sales offerings to new and existing clients. The Regional Sales Manager will provide guidance and a framework to ensure a superior customer experience and a high retention rate of customers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and apply an in-depth understanding of Fusion’s processes/procedures and sales tools/systems to execute an effective long-term sales strategy
  • Direct hiring, training, and performance evaluations to develop team members to their full potential; Set sales territories and goals; Direct sales forecasting activities and appropriate employee performance goals
  • Oversee and provide guidance in pricing Fusion’s products and services; Confer and assist in negotiating customer contracts
  • Gather and select sources of information to determine market characteristics, measurements of market potentials, market-share analysis, and sales analysis
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition and reports competitive market information to executive management staff

ROLE SUMMARY

The Project Manager is a key member of Fusion’s internal Design/Development and Operations teams. This role is responsible for driving custom new product development projects as well as customer driven stock and custom product projects from conception to launch. The Project Manager is responsible for managing and organizing all timing, milestones, technical information, and project documentation to ensure flawless execution. This is implemented by communicating daily with both the US based development team and with China based packaging engineers and operations personnel. The over success of the role will be measured by ensuring that products meet or exceed expectations from a cost, timing, customer requirement, and specification standpoint.

The Project Manager will work with sales, design, operations (US/China), engineering, quality, and marketing to understand and establish product requirements and ensure that Fusion creates design that are not only beautiful but that can be manufactured. The Project Manager will work very closely with Packaging Engineers based in China via email, phone, and messenger applications to ensure client objectives are met quickly and to work through all issues that arise throughout implementation.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, issue, and maintain component specifications; Writes all spec documents and oversees approval by Package Engineering and customers; Request and understands details of decoration options for all components in development
  • Project management assigned tasks to include: Develop and maintain timeline of projects and project related tasks; Ensuring each step in agreed upon timeline is being committed to and completed; Anticipate potential issues that may occur and communicate with the proper departments to create an appropriate corrective action plan; Offer recommendations and provide solutions to any design and engineering challenges that may arise when spec cannot be met; Manages and assists in resolution of any project scope changes
  • Projects manager will ensure: Proper mold costing and sales pricing is provided to customers; Drawings and dieline requests are entered approvals handled by appropriate managers; Managing validation process, Ensuring China team completes requested tasks as committed
  • Project managers will establish: Feasible deadlines considering potential issues for new product launches; Lead US project kickoff and lead China Engineering project kickoff meetings and ensure all appropriate documents are completed in a timely manner; Note some calls may need to be scheduled early morning or evenings due to time difference
  • Interact daily with Sales, Account Manager, and other key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the development process
  • Partner with China team to ensure esthetics, quality and functionality of the package; In conjunction with China partners establish standards, limits, and acceptable defects for all components on new packages and has agreement by appropriate managers
  • Identify new and improved processes that will result in simplified steps and/or time reductions for the company.
  • Compiles all project documentation
  • Lead or participate in other assigned projects as needed

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, packaging, engineering or associated fields from an accredited college or university
  • Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin
  • Two or more years of experience in project managing complex manufacturing projects
  • Experience working on a PC using tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook. Experience with timeline software desired, but not required.
  • Beauty/Cosmetic industry experienced highly desired, but not required 
  • Domestic travel twice a year for 2-3 days at a time and International travel once a year for 1-2 weeks at a time.
