Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, Fusion Packaging Team Up for New Anti-Aging Product

DALLAS, TEXAS – January 2013 – Dermatologist brand, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare™, chose Fusion Packaging’s Allure jar for their latest anti-aging treatment, Ferulic + Retinol Fibroblast Anti-Aging Moisturizer. 

Known for multi-tasking products, this launch features the new ECG™ Complex designed to target the collagen-producing Fibroblast cell to treat and prevent signs of aging.  Fusion’s 50 ml Allure jar was selected as it perfectly compliments the aesthetic of the existing Ferulic + Retinol family.

“Other products in the line had been packaged in amber glass bottles, but we wanted something different than a glass jar – something simple that fit with the family,” said Jessica Abrams, the brand’s Packaging, Quality and Regulatory Manager. “The clean look of the Allure jar seemed to go perfectly.”

In order to replicate the look of the glass bottles, Fusion injected the jar with a custom translucent amber color topped with a black outer cap. The jar was decorated with white silkscreened art that further replicates the look of the product line for a clean, uniformed appearance.  Ideal for its endless decorating potential, the Allure jar features a double-wall design, and is available in 15, 30 and 50 ml capacities. The acrylic jar is engineered to withstand custom color injection, spray, silkscreen and heat transfer labeling.

This project continues the long-standing relationship between Dr. Dennis Gross and Fusion Packaging. “We have used Fusion for many years for our jars and love working with them,” said Abrams. “We love the design of the Allure jar, and have actually used it for many years for other products with different deco.”

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare products are formulated to provide both immediate and long-term effects, backed by Dr. Gross’ experience as a skin cancer researcher and product formulator in New York City. The groundbreaking Ferulic + Retinol Fibroblast Anti-Aging Moisturizer is available online and debuted in select Sephora stores this month.
