Associate Designer, Part-Time


The Associate Designer role is a part-time position located in our Dallas office. The Associate Designer is responsible for “owning” all aspects of Fusion’s prototyping process. Responsibilities include maintaining the 3D printer, purchasing printing material for the 3D printer. The secondary responsibility is to assist the package development teams in the creation of graphic design documents using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.


Essential Duties and Daily Responsibilities
  • Print, clean, and assemble new package prototypes
  • Lean to master the 3D printer and model making (Initial training provided.)
  • Keep work area clean and well organized
  • Interface with the Director of Design and Development and Project Managers to provide graphic design for the Package Development team
  • Participate in other assigned projects

Position Requirements‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design or related creative field from an accredited college or university
  • 1 or more year of professional experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Intermediate level experience with Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop
  • Keyshot rendering experience is a plus
  • Available portfolio for viewing professional design projects
