Associate Packaging Designer Engineer

Summary

The Associate Designer role is part-time position (20 to 25 hours) and the position is located in our Dallas office. The Associate Designer is responsible for “owning” all aspects of Fusion’s prototyping process. Responsibilities include maintaining the 3D printer, purchasing printing material for the 3D printer. The secondary responsibility is to assist the package development teams in the creation of graphic design documents using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • On a daily basis: print, clean, and assembly new package prototypes
  • Lean to master the 3D printer and model making (Initial training provided.)
  • Keep work area clean and well organized
  • Additionally, interface with Project Managers, Industrial Designers and Mechanical Engineers to provide graphic design for the Package Development team
  • Participate in other assigned projects

Position Requirements‬
  • Pursuing or recent degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design or related creative field from an accredited college or university
  • 1 or more year of experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Intermediate level experience with Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop
  • Keyshot rendering experience is a plus
  • Available portfolio for viewing recent design projects
