Inside Sales Representative


We are seeking an independent, highly motivated, confident, self-starter for an Inside Sales Representative position within our Dallas corporate office and showroom.  The primary responsibility of the role is to engage with prospects from across the country as the central point of contact all the way to deal close by overcoming objections and taking a consultative sales approach.  Must be comfortable resolving customer questions and offering solutions to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.  Our ideal candidate will have the ability to learn and adapt in an ever changing, fast-paced professional environment. Quick, solid decision-making skills are a must.  Must be experienced following up with leads and managing sales pipeline to a close.  The ability to learn packaging and beauty related knowledge is required.  Candidate should be highly reliable and have excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.

  • Turn qualified leads into new business for FusionPKG, by presenting and selling stock product line and services and collaborating with customers on their desired package(s)
  • Contact all leads given (web, phone, tradeshow) and answer requisitions in a courteous, timely, and professional manner
  • Identify and prioritize potential opportunities, escalating large opportunities to Sales Management
  • Meets or exceeds annual sales goals
  • Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues by using consultative selling skills, technical knowledge and probing skills to win opportunities
  • Fully manage the development process for assigned customers from start to project finish
  • Proactively engage with the customer to keep the project moving forward and set follow-up meetings to keep customers aware of status and latest developments
  • Develop and give sales presentations demonstrating our ability to offer creative, solution-based programs
  • Timely follow-up on takeaways from meetings and other correspondence to customer satisfaction
  • Provide insights to internal team on assigned customers product forecasts and state of the business
  • Outbound telephone prospecting and cold calling
  • Monitor perceived and real competition
  • Dedicated to bringing a positive and enthusiastic outlook to work each day.
  • Research prospects to understand potential, product line and company ethos
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues as applicable
  • Follow sales processes and perform all tasks in a courteous and professional manner
  • Utilize knowledge base and training to accurately answer customer questions
  • Appropriately escalate customer issues with the managerial team
  • Attend meetings and training and review all new training material to stay up to date on changes/additions to product portfolio
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college required
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in packaging or a cross-market industry selling to the personal care market
  • Passion for the beauty industry a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
  • Proven sales track record of meeting sales goals
  • Attend regional and national trade shows when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and neat professional appearance
  • Excellent communication skills—written, oral and listening—required
  • Must live in Dallas area
