The Laboratory Technician is a vital role in the Package Engineering and Quality Department and provides lab testing services for evaluating cosmetic packaging for Fusion Packaging and Beauty Labs. We’re looking for a professional with experience in data collection and interpretation as well as the storage and retrieval of samples in a laboratory setting.
With supervision of the Packaging Engineer, this role will be responsible for filling and testing packaging components, package assemblies, and filled packaging for performance. He or she will also participate in the R&D aspects of the job, including sample preparation, performing testing, evaluating results, managing schedules and writing and issuing reports.
The Laboratory Assistant will be detailed oriented in the day-to-day transactional work but also will be interfacing in more strategic conversations regarding complex problems with managers inside the organization; this includes daily follow-up with U.S. teams and may also involve verbal and electronic communication with product teams in China.
