The Project Manager is a key member of Fusion’s US based Operations team. This role is responsible for managing customer driven custom packaging development projects as well as providing technical support and expertise to customer support personnel in their respective branch office. The Project Manager oversees the design and engineering phase as well as the tool development phase of their assigned projects providing detailed management and involvement from project conception to product launch. The Project Manager is responsible for managing and organizing all timing, milestones, technical information, and project documentation to ensure flawless execution. Expectations include communicating daily with both the US-based development and engineering teams and with China based packaging engineers and operations personnel. The overall success of the role will be measured by ensuring that products meet or exceed expectations from a cost, timing, customer requirement, and specification standpoint.
The Project Manager will be an integral part of the branch customer execution team, which also includes designers, engineers, sales executives, and account managers. This team is responsible for collaborating to fulfill customer opportunities.
The Project Manager will interface with all cross-functional Fusion teams to understand and establish product requirements and ensure that Fusion creates designs that are not only beautiful and able to be manufactured, but also fully meet customer expectations. The Project Manager will work very closely with China-based Packaging Engineers to ensure customer objectives are met quickly and to work through all issues and solve complex problems that arise throughout the implementation process.
