The Project Manager, Product Development Beauty Lab is a key member of the Product Development Team and the Beauty Lab division. The Program Manager works directly with Sales Executives who identify leads and customer opportunities and general opportunity support. The Sales Executive relies on the Project Manager for preliminary pricing and timelines for packaging changes. Pricing requires interfacing with suppliers, contract manufactures and other vendors to acquire costs. Information is consolidated and then communicated back to the sales team for customer driven projects. The Programs Manager’s input is a critical component in helping the Sales Executive finalize the sale.
The Program Manager, Beauty Lab collaborates with the Business Development Officer into transitioning stock componentry items into the Fusion catalogue. Items are also put on a master calendar – indicating when and which venues (such as trade shows) the product will be launched. The role will also fill newly launched stock items being on-boarded with turnkey formula options to expand the Beauty Lab formulation library.
The Program Manager, Beauty Lab reports to the Business Development Officer. On an on-going basis, the role interfaces with other members of the Product Development team, Sales, U.S. and China operations, Sample Coordinator, Packaging Engineer and the Marketing team.
