FusionPKG is a dynamic supplier that offers innovative packaging solutions to beauty brands. We are looking for a self-motivated Sr. Staff Accountant with strong attention to detail. The incumbent should be well-versed in basic accounting principles and can contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Solid written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi-task projects with a strong sense of integrity while maintaining confidentiality are essential to successfully carrying out the duties of this position. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who wants to grow and learn new things and isn’t afraid of taking on new responsibilities as they progress.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare general ledger entries and maintain records and files.
- Actively participate in accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes.
- Assist with the timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Complete collection emails and calls to customers as part of the accounts receivable process.
- Prepare account analysis and reconciliations for various general ledger accounts.
- Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; and requesting disbursements.
- Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with internal/external controls.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Create efficiencies within the department and maintain a strong team dynamic.
EXPECTATIONS FOR SUCCESS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting.
- Experience with SOX requirement.
- CPA or CPA test eligible preferred
- Auditing experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles and knowledge of accounting transactions through audit experience
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels.
- Analytical, detail-focused, problem-solving, decision-making, and organization/planning aptitude.
- Resourcefulness: See and implement automation opportunities. Innovative. Strong ability to multi-task.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to deal honestly and openly with others. Firm understanding and adherence to confidentiality.

- Analytical, detail-oriented, and works well under pressure.
- Sage & Salesforce experience a plus.
